The ampersand is one of the oldest characters in the English language. The 27th letter in the alphabet, the word “ampersand” was first added to dictionaries in 1837. The word was created as a slurred form of “and, per se and”, which was what the alphabet ended with when recited in English-speaking schools. (Historically, “and per se” preceded any letter which was also a word in the alphabet, such as “I” or “A”.
So as the ampersand was created to support the significant letters in the alphabet, so too is our organization committed to supporting our Client partners. The symbol resonates with our core values and brand promise which is to have an unrelenting work ethic that supports our Client partners by improving their financial performance.
